First of all, feel free to drop by and have a look to see if you like our club! If you decide you want to become a member, this is how it works:

Second club/internal competition only: €60,- a year

Full membership: €120,- a year

Internal competition only

Each season, we host an internal competition at Zwart op Wit. The first three times you participate, it is free of charge. After that, we will ask you to pay a contribution fee of €60,- which will get you a membership for the full season (we may lower the price according to how much of the season is left). At Zwart op Wit, the internal rapid games are KNSB-rated. If you wish for your games to count towards your rapid rating, a full membership of €120,- is required.

External competition

At the start of each season in september, we form our SGA teams for the upcoming year. If you want to participate in external games, additional fees are required for registration for the national and regional federations. In this case, the total yearly contribution fee is currently €120,-. This will also give you a FIDE and KNSB ID, with which you can participate in other tournaments as well.

If you join later into the season but still want to play external competitions, it is often possible for you to participate as a substitute for one or more teams. We try to give everyone as many games as possible, but we can't guarantee anything. In this case, it is best to talk to one of our board members about the possibilities.
